Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Coogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by PRIDE FC. Rob Coogan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Junior Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rob Coogan! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Coogan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coogan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard. Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position. Silva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Coogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coogan shoots and misses and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva. Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coogan on the ground. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Silva tries to stand but Coogan is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coogan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Coogan has hold of Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Silva wants to control but Coogan is having none of it. Coogan content just to control the position here. Silva wants to control but Coogan is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coogan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Coogan unloads with some shots from mount but Silva bucks and avoids them well.
Silva avoids a series of strikes thrown by Coogan.
Silva defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Coogan. Coogan throwing strikes here but Silva is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Silva is trying desperately to improve position. Silva is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva tries to improve his position but instead Coogan has taken his back! Coogan has his arm under Silva's chin here. Game over son! Coogan squeezes tightly and Silva is forced to tap out!
