Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Coogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by PRIDE FC. Rob Coogan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Coogan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coogan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.
Silva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Coogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coogan on the ground.

Coogan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Coogan has hold of Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Silva wants to control but Coogan is having none of it.
