Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Kiptanui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravado comes to the cage accompanied by Pray. Kiptanui has chosen Kehäkettu & Setä Koponen - Etenevän Liikken Laki ft. Kone as his entrance music. Eddie Bravado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiptanui moves into range and connects with a jab. Kiptanui throws a sloppy head kick and Bravado counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kiptanui decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bravado is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bravado is staying active underneath Kiptanui, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kiptanui seems to be working for a kimura but Bravado defends the submission attempt. Bravado is trying to maintain the position but Kiptanui is very close to passing his half guard. Kiptanui is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bravado defends it well. Bravado is not content to let Kiptanui control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravado kicks off Kiptanui and gets to his feet. Bravado decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bravado with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bravado passes the guard and advances to mount! Bravado punishing his opponent with strikes. Bravado putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bravado raining down shots from the mount! Bravado content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravado lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bravado scoring with strikes but Kiptanui is staying in there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bravado raining down shots from the mount! Kiptanui is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiptanui is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bravado putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kiptanui is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bravado sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kiptanui is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bravado scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kiptanui is still in real trouble! Can Bravado finish him? Kiptanui tries to lock up and control but Bravado gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kiptanui seems to have recovered his senses. Kiptanui slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kiptanui wants to control but Bravado passes into side.
Kiptanui can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Bravado's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kiptanui takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kiptanui managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bravado.

Eddie Bravado dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kiptanui tries to clinch but Bravado moves away and Bravado counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kiptanui swings and misses with a shot to the body so Bravado counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kiptanui looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kiptanui is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kiptanui pushes a forearm under Bravado's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bravado is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
