Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Denai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pantera (Walk). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greg Denai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chase Storm! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Denai throws a sloppy head kick and Storm moves out of range easily. Denai throws a head kick that misses. Denai closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Storm quickly recovers to half guard. Storm is trying to maintain the position but Denai is very close to passing his half guard. Storm throws a strike from the bottom but Denai passes into side control!
Denai is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Storm has escaped the position, nice work there. Storm misses with a strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Denai wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Storm, who protects the arm well. Storm struggling a bit here. Denai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Storm keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Denai avoids the strikes from the bottom by Storm. You can see the frustration on Storm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Storm manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Storm is refusing to be controlled, as Denai sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Denai is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Storm sees it coming and defends easily. Storm tries to roll over but Denai keeps him under control. Denai is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Storm is not content to let Denai control the position. Denai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Storm is just riding it out for now. Denai eventually gives up the hold. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Storm gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Denai dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Storm throws a looping overhand right but Denai ducks down to avoid it. Denai throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Denai lands a head kick. Storm smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Chase Storm has been cut. Denai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Storm checks a leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Storm. Those never looked like landing. Denai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Denai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Denai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Storm is just riding it out for now. Denai eventually gives up the hold.

Denai drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Storm dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Denai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Storm defends well. Storm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Denai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Denai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Storm. Denai is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm with a flurry of punches that miss. Storm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Denai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Denai looking for a guillotine here but Storm defends easily.

Denai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Storm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Storm avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Denai looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Denai moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Storm is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Storm avoids the head kick by Denai.
Storm goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Denai gets the takedown into side control. Storm is trying to get back to half guard. Storm struggling a bit here. Storm tries to control but Denai manages to take his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm is having to fend off submission attempts from Denai, who is looking to sink in the choke. Denai doesn't have the hooks in though and Storm manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Denai is looking for a triangle but Storm pushes his legs off easily.
Storm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Denai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Storm is aware though and is defending well. Storm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Denai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Storm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Denai looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Storm passes into half guard.

Denai keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. Storm sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Denai's guard. Storm missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Chase Storm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Denai tries to get to full guard but Storm has control of the leg. Storm throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Storm thows a huge punch but Denai dodges it nicely.

Storm winds up and cracks Denai with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Denai looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Denai avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Storm. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Denai is looking for a sweep. Storm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Storm thows a huge punch but Denai dodges it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! Chase Storm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Denai has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
