Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Starrk Lobos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Van Roosmalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Roosmalen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. tupac - ambitionz az a ridah kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kevin Van Roosmalen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Roosmalen is looking to clinch but Lobos is avoiding it.

Van Roosmalen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Van Roosmalen shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Van Roosmalen. No joy for Lobos on that attempt.
Lobos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Van Roosmalen pinned against the cage. Van Roosmalen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Lobos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Van Roosmalen's guard now.
Lobos wants to control from the top but Van Roosmalen keeps moving.

Lobos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Van Roosmalen dives on top into guard.

Van Roosmalen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lobos is proving hard to escape from.
Van Roosmalen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lobos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lobos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Van Roosmalen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Van Roosmalen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lobos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Van Roosmalen manages to get himself to full guard.

Van Roosmalen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Van Roosmalen wants to get back to his feet but Lobos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lobos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Van Roosmalen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lobos has Van Roosmalen in his guard.
Van Roosmalen wants to get up but he can't break Lobos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lobos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Van Roosmalen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lobos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lobos is looking for a triangle but Van Roosmalen pushes his legs off easily.

Lobos is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Van Roosmalen rolls with it to try and escape but Lobos cranks on the arm and Van Roosmalen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
