Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Ripgut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yedo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripgut kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Abominable Putridity - Throat Fisting Abortion. Kim has chosen "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

14 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Ripgut! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yedo Kim! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ripgut.
Sean Ripgut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ripgut fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kim. Kim pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ripgut is out of range and Kim settles back down. Ripgut fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kim checks it well. Kim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ripgut tries to score with a low kick but Kim moves his leg out of the way. A low kick from Ripgut misses and Kim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A low kick from Ripgut is predictable there and Kim counters with an outside leg kick.

Kim connects with a right hand. Ripgut shakes it off. Ripgut blocks a low kick nicely. Ripgut will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ripgut looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kim has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kim goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kim swings wildly with an uppercut but Ripgut uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ripgut tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kim avoids it. Kim tries to work over Ripgut's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kim scores with a knee to the head.
Kim takes an elbow to the temple. Ripgut lands an elbow inside. Kim managing to block the knees to the body from Ripgut.

Ripgut throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Kim counters with a head kick that drops Ripgut to the mat! Ripgut scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ripgut is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ripgut misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kim.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kim swats away the attempt to clinch by Ripgut. Ripgut wants to clinch and Kim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ripgut looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ripgut. Kim does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ripgut tried to score with a low kick but Kim checks it. Kim throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ripgut is looking to wear down Kim with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Ripgut closes the distance looking to clinch and Ripgut takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ripgut throws a leg kick but Kim checks it. The fight stays on the outside here - Ripgut looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kim on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ripgut. Ripgut obviously looking to wear him down.

A close third round but Yedo Kim just about did enough to take it. The cut man is working on Sean Ripgut's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That must be slowing him down.

Ripgut throws a solid leg kick but Kim takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ripgut. Ripgut attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Ripgut throws a looping overhand right but Kim ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ripgut looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Kim is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Ripgut changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. That kick from Ripgut tenderised Kim's leg. Ripgut throws a leg kick which misses Kim's front leg but catches the back leg as Kim tries to avoid it. Kim keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ripgut tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it. Kim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ripgut. Kim avoids the head kick by Ripgut.
