Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Minard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Against I. Power has chosen X gonna give it to ya - DMX as his entrance music. Thomas Power has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Minard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Power's head backwards.
Power throws a series of punches but Minard moves out of range.
Power throws a head kick that misses
and Minard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Power avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Minard misses with a combination
and Power counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Power shoots in for a double leg but Minard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Minard throws a shot from downtown. Power moves away and avoids it.
Minard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Minard throws a leg kick but Power sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Power counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Minard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Power lands a big head kick that sends Minard tumbling to the mat! Power takes a step backwards and waves Minard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Minard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Minard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Power counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Minard stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Power counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Power landing with the ground and pound.

Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Power shoots in looking for a takedown. Minard tries to sprawl out of it but Power keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Minard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Minard counters with a three punch combo that has Power backing up. Power nods at Minard to acknowledge the strikes.
Minard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Power manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Power shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Minard sprawls well. Minard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Power gets slowly back to his feet.

Thomas Power comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
