PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kordic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martell Hennessey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martell Hennessey!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennessey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kordic counters with a stiff right hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kordic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hennessey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kordic throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hennessey's head.
Kordic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hennesseys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hennessey has hold of Kordic's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kordic manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Hennessey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
