Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willy Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarvis Messam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Messam has chosen Boombastic by Shaggy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Messam trying to control the action but Coffey is working from the bottom.
The strikes coming from Messam are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Messam thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Coffey is not content to let Messam control the position.
Messam is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Coffey looks calm but he's in trouble here. Messam gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Coffey is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Messam lets go of the hold and Coffey can pop his arm back in it's socket.
