The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a combination that misses
letting Helmet counter with a right hand.
Rua throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Helmet counters with a straight right hand.
Rua takes a kick to the side of the head.
A slapping body kick lands there for Helmet.
Rua throws a left and a right that both miss
and Helmet counters with a body kick that stops Rua in his tracks momentarily.

Helmet gets a clinch.
Helmet tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rua avoids it.
A body shot lands from Helmet.
Rua looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rua on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rua blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rua looking to stall.
Rua seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Helmet is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rua is keeping busy.
Rua is trying to maintain a safe position but Helmet gets an underhook and turns Rua into the cage.

Helmet tries to work over Rua's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rua is trying to stall.
Helmet is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Helmet lands a nice elbow.
Helmet can't find room to land a body shot as Rua controls the action.

Helmet throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Rua is rocked!

Rua drops his hands momentarily and Helmet needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Rua just on the top of the head. Rua drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Rua - he's done!
