Mir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mir is breathing heavily.
Neuer connects with a combination that backs up Mir into the cage. Neuer lands a flurry of punches that gets past Mir's guard. Mir is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Neuer bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
