McCarthy catches Brave with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab from McCarthy does it's job there.
Brave on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McCarthy connects with a body shot.
McCarthy scores with a shot to the body.
McCarthy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Brave takes a jab right on the kisser.
Brave takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McCarthy connects with a single shot there.
Brave takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
John McCarthy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brave with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McCarthy to score with a decent uppercut.
Decent striking displayed by McCarthy there.
Brave tries for a takedown but McCarthy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Brave shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Brave changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCarthy tries to avoid it but Brave manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCarthy to the ground. McCarthy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCarthy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brave's head backwards.
McCarthy tests Brave's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McCarthy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brave had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into p�t�.
McCarthy connects with a crisp jab.
McCarthy jabs Brave right on the nose. Brave blinks but takes it well.
McCarthy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McCarthy stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lex Brave. That's going to take a lot out of him.
