Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hux Flux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Karcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hux Flux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Landon Karcher!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flux looks for a takedown but Karcher sprawls well.

Flux scores a takedown into full mount!
Karcher holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Flux tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Karcher tries to hold on but Flux postures up.
Karcher is controlling an arm, preventing Flux from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Flux is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Karcher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Flux wants to finish this one by submission but Karcher is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flux.
Flux can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Karcher is looking to escape.

Flux has hold of Karcher's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Karcher manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Karcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karcher wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Flux.
Flux avoids the attempt from Karcher to control.

Flux wants to finish this one by submission but Karcher is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flux.

Flux has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Flux throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Karcher because Flux loaded up on that one.

Flux looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Flux has control of Karcher's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Karcher regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Flux is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Karcher has managed to escape the submission attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karcher can do anything to dispel that myth.

Flux is persistently looking for the submission but Karcher is defending it well.

Flux is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Karcher defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Flux is cranking Karcher's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Karcher! He's tightened the choke and Karcher is tapping out!
