Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Adebisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Swayze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adebisi comes into the arena with Dr Alban - Hello Africa blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swayze swings widly with a right hand
and Adebisi counters with a big uppercut that knocks Swayze off his feet! Adebisi dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Brick Swayze has been cut.
Adebisi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Swayze is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Adebisi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Adebisi takes a little break here. Swayze wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Adebisi is working Swayze over with some ground and pound from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adebisi grinds an elbow into Swayze's temple.

Swayze tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Adebisi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Adebisi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Swayze to see if he's OK.

Adebisi has control of an arm but Swayze manages to advance to Adebisi's back!

Swayze is looking for a choke. Adebisi gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Adebisi manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Swayze can't keep his opponent in guard - Adebisi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Adebisi slips a nice elbow through Swayze's hands, connecting with Swayze's forehead.
Swayze is looking for a sweep. Adebisi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Adebisi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Swayze is defending against the submission attempts here by Adebisi.
Adebisi uses his free foot to push down on Swayze's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Swayze.

Adebisi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Swayze can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Adebisi lands a big shot to the head and Swayze winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
