Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lone Ryder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Hancock! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryder scores with a body shot.
Hancock throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ryder counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like John Hancock has been cut. Ryder misses with a body shot.
Hancock tries to bum rush Ryder with a series of wild strikes but Ryder uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hancock misses with a jab to the body
and Ryder makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hancock looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Ryder connects with a looping right hand.
Ryder looks to score with a jab to the body but Hancock is just out of range. Ryder lands with a hook. Hancock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ryder scores with a hook to the body. Hancock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ryder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hancock was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryder. Ryder lands a nice shot to the body.

That has opened up John Hancock's cut even more. Ryder tests Hancock's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice body punch from Ryder. Ryder misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hancock.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ryder digs a good body shot into Hancock's ribs. Ryder scores with a jab to the body. Ryder moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The cut above John Hancock's eye is starting to cause him problems now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryder bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
John Hancock's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Hancock's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lone Ryder!
