The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry throws a combination that misses
and Phil counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Phil stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Phil wants it to stay on the feet.
Phil tries to close the distance and clinch but Curry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Phil counters with a left and a right that stings Curry.
Curry shoots in for a double leg but Phil sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well Phil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
