Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilmer Apae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nickolai Zhukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zhukov's choice of entrance music: Hands of a Killer. Nickolai Zhukov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wilmer Apae's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apae fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zhukov throws out a loose jab but Apae uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zhukov throws a hook to the side of Apae's head but Apae sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Apae lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Nickolai Zhukov has been cut.
Apae throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Apae throws a hook but Zhukov blocks it.
Zhukov connects with a single shot there.
Apae throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zhukov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Apae misses with a double jab
and Zhukov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Zhukov finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Zhukov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Apae thinking.
Apae is breathing heavily.
Zhukov lands a big right hand that sends Apae crashing to the mat! Zhukov stays standing though and waves Apae back to his feet!
Apae takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zhukov dances in with a quick combination. Apae is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Zhukov snaps Apae's head back. Apae stumbles backwards against the cage. Zhukov steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Apae's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Apae just didn't come prepared.
