Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vandrax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Walk. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frederick Gibson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Vandrax! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandrax bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gibson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Gibson defending against the ground and pound. Gibson is trying to improve his position. Vandrax swings around for an armbar but Gibson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vandrax's guard. Gibson trying to control the position from guard on top but Vandrax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frederick Gibson. Gibson checks a leg kick. Horrible takedown by Gibson or perhaps it was just good defense by Vandrax which made him look bad. Vandrax scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Frederick Gibson has been cut. Gibson is breathing heavily. Vandrax tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vandrax throws a head kick but Gibson moves out of range.
Gibson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Vandrax counters by moving into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vandrax is pressed up against the cage. Gibson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vandrax down to the mat. Vandrax avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Vandrax drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gibson is trying to keep Vandrax in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vandrax controlling from the top position. Vandrax tries to free his leg and advance position but Gibson is retaining full guard. Vandrax controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gibson can't keep his opponent in guard - Vandrax advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Vandrax throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vandrax wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gibson keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vandrax is trying for a kimura here. Gibson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Vandrax wins by kimura!
