Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Menk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Menk had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Menk.
Menk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Menk misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Gracie cracks Menk with a solid left hand.
Menk can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Menk looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Menk is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gracie thows a huge punch but Menk dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie moves nicely into side control.
Gracie trying to control the position but Menk is working away.
Menk tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Menk is breathing heavily.
Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Menk has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Menk.
Gracie sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gracie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Menk can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie wants to control the pace but Menk is squirming around nicely.
Gracie lands with some strikes.
Menk is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie with shots to the head and body - Menk looks very uncomfortable down there.
Oh Menk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracie unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Menk wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Gracie celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
