The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houdini with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Gull counter with a right hand.
Houdini scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Houdini is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gull has escaped the position, nice work there.
Houdini wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gull keeps working.
Houdini tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gull is trying to get back to half guard.
Gull throws Houdini to one side and escapes!
Houdini shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gull counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Houdini tries for a takedown but Gull circles away easily
enabling Gull to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Houdini. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Houdini shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Gull works over Houdini's head and body with a nice combination.
