Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dexter Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cael Sanderson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Morgan. That's going to slow Sanderson down. Sanderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Morgan counters with a good low kick that Sanderson was not able to check. Morgan throws a low kick but Sanderson avoids it. Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Morgan misses with a hook
and Sanderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sanderson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sanderson trying to pass the guard but Morgan defending well. Sanderson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sanderson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sanderson stalling away here and it's allowed Morgan to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanderson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Sanderson from controlling successfully. Sanderson throws a big right hand that misses. Morgan trying to control the position here. Sanderson with a nice head shot there. Sanderson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Morgan wants to sweep but no luck. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sanderson postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanderson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morgan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Morgan is looking to sweep but instead, Sanderson has passed into half guard.
Sanderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sanderson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Morgan is trying to maintain the position but Sanderson is very close to passing his half guard. Morgan is looking to get back to full guard here but Sanderson has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Check out the look on Sanderson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Morgan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanderson tries for a kimura but Morgan is defending well. Morgan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sanderson off and has taken his back! Morgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morgan keeps control of the position as Sanderson tries to break free.

Sanderson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan is looking for a sweep. Sanderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sanderson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sanderson throwing shots but Morgan is blocking nicely. Morgan wants to improve his position but Sanderson is controlling well.

Cael Sanderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Sanderson with a jab. Sanderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morgan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Morgan attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Sanderson cracks a nice hook into Morgan's ribs. Morgan scores with a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Morgan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Morgan throws a leg kick and Sanderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Morgan's guard. Morgan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sanderson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Morgan has tightened it up now! Sanderson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
