Herring's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The End of the Line, by Metallica. Frank Herring is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Herring drops Carter with a beautiful combination! Carter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Herring is looking for the KO!

It looks like Rick Carter has been cut.

Carter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Herring's half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Carter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Herring doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carter.

Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Herring is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Herring is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold.
Carter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Herring keeps working.

Herring pushes Carter off and gets back to his feet.
Carter looks gassed!

Herring feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carter sprawling to the canvas! Carter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Herring finish him?!
Herring misses with a series of wild punches.

Carter takes a jab right on the kisser.
