Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ortiz sprawls well initially but Parker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Parker is controlling the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ortiz is defended easily by Parker.
Parker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ortiz gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Parker seems content to control.
Ortiz has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parker. Oh but Ortiz has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parker goes limp - he's gone! Ortiz jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
