Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luger has chosen Real American as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shane Carwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lex Luger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin moves forwards but Luger connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Carwin throws a leg kick but Luger checks it.
Luger misses with a takedown
and Carwin counters with a single leg into guard. Luger didn't expect that.
Carwin tries to free his leg and advance position but Luger is retaining full guard.
Carwin trying to control but Luger is working from the bottom.
Carwin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shane Carwin.
Luger throws a head kick that Carwin semi-blocks.
It looks like Shane Carwin has been cut.
Carwin with a lazy takedown attempt
and Carwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Donk. Carwin catches Luger right on the button with a cross.
Carwin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Luger counters with a shoot takedown. Carwin fights it but they end up in guard.
Carwin wants to stand and escape but Luger is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Luger won't allow Carwin to get back to his feet.
Carwin keeping moving, preventing Luger from controlling successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Carwin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Luger dives into side control.
Luger in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carwin wants to get back to his feet but Luger drags him back down.
Carwin bucks up and tries to throw Luger off but instead Luger has got his back!
Good control from Luger.
Luger is working for a rear naked choke. Carwin is not defending it well and Luger has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Carwin refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Carwin's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
