Blastoise comes to the cage accompanied by The Rolling Stones: Sympathy For The Devil. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blastoise scores with a kick to the body.

Blastoise feints and as Rua raises his hands in defense, Blastoise changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rua looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rua looking for a guillotine here but Blastoise defends easily.

Rua is rocked!

Blastoise stands up over Rua, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rua is still in real trouble! Can Blastoise finish him?
Blastoise chips away with some ground and pound.
Blastoise lands a couple of digs.
Blastoise works over Rua with some ground and pound from guard.
Blastoise passes Rua's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Blastoise moves nicely into side control.
Rua seems to have recovered his senses.

Blastoise has hold of Rua's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rua seems comfortable defending it but Blastoise has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rua is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rua is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Blastoise couldn't care less - he's delighted!
