Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Bojanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Calzaghe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Pride of Wales. Bojanski has chosen N.E.R.D - Rockstar as his entrance music. The key to victory for Joe Calzaghe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mirko Bojanski!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bojanski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Calzaghe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Calzaghe looks to throw the jab but Bojanski is out of range.
Calzaghe throws a good cross that connects.
Calzaghe moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bojanski moves out of range of the strikes.

Bojanski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Calzaghe defends it nicely.
Calzaghe lands a jab.
Bojanski drops his hands momentarily and Calzaghe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Calzaghe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bojanski doesn't seem bothered though.
Calzaghe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bojanski's head.
Calzaghe connects with a right hand. Bojanski shakes it off.
Calzaghe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bojanski moves away.

Bojanski fails with a takedown attempt.
Calzaghe swats away the attempt to clinch by Bojanski.
A looping hook to the body misses from Calzaghe. Bojanski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Joe Calzaghe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Bojanski.
A slow jab from Calzaghe misses its intended target.
Bojanski scores with a kick to the midsection.

Calzaghe goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bojanski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bojanski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Calzaghe sprawls well. Calzaghe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bojanski gets slowly back to his feet.
Calzaghe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Calzaghe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Calzaghe throws a body punch but Bojanski moves out of range.
Calzaghe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Bojanski is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Calzaghe drops Bojanski with a naaaaasty hook - Bojanski is in real trouble here! Calzaghe dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
