Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Adagio For Strings. Zimmerman has chosen Linkin Park-- What Ive Done as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman throws a lazy uppercut
and Torres counters with a straight right hand.

Eric Zimmerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zimmerman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Torres - the referee stops the clock and Zimmerman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Torres. Zimmerman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Zimmerman shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Zimmerman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Torres's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zimmerman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Torres scrambles back to his feet.
