The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powers moves into the clinch.
Powers tries to break free but Jambon pushes him back against the ropes.
Jambon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Jambon swings wildly with an uppercut but Powers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jambon is leaning against Powers and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Jambon lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Powers is looking to break free of the clinch but Jambon has double underhooks.
Jambon throws a punch but it's blocked by Powers.

Powers is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Powers gets through Jambon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jambon lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Powers or not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jambon dips a shoulder and cracks Powers with a mighty uppercut! Powers falls back against the ropes and Jambon unloads with a barrage of strikes! Powers is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jambon screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
