The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCoy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alpha Kann napping and manages to drive through into side control!

McCoy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Alpha Kann can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

McCoy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alpha Kann circles away.

Signus Alpha Kann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alpha Kann lands a big uppercut and McCoy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McCoy looks OK. Alpha Kann waves McCoy back to his feet!

McCoy is rocked!
Alpha Kann is stalking McCoy. McCoy circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Alpha Kann, and it's lights out! McCoy really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
