The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oquendo lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Paul Carter has been cut.
Carter throws a hook but Oquendo blocks it.
Oquendo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oquendo.
Carter throws a right hand that misses
and Oquendo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Oquendo throws a sloppy head kick and Carter moves out of range easily.
Oquendo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carter.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Oquendo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oquendo throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely.
Oquendo works Carter's body with a nice hook.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Oquendo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Oquendo - that will leave a mark!

A looping hook to the body misses from Oquendo. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oquendo delivers a nice body kick.
Carter takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oquendo lands with a slapping head kick.
Carter is rocked!
Oquendo throws a powerful right kick. Carter tried to block low but the kick was high! Carter was taken right off of his feet! Oquendo jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
