Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Sybert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus McLoughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sybert comes to the ring accompanied by 99 Luftballons. McLoughlin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cadence to Arms. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Sybert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angus McLoughlin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLoughlin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sybert. McLoughlin is looking to score with low kicks. McLoughlin connects with a body shot. McLoughlin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. McLoughlin moves in looking to clinch but Sybert pushes him off. McLoughlin misses with the combination.

and Sybert counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McLoughlin! McLoughlin tries to reverse the position but Sybert maintains control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sybert goes for an armbar but he's not got it… McLoughlin turns into him and now he's in Sybert's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McLoughlin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. McLoughlin won't allow Sybert to sweep him here. McLoughlin pushes down on Sybert's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sybert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sybert is looking to control McLoughlin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sybert avoid being mounted? McLoughlin content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sybert trying to control here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Angus McLoughlin was stalling too much, according to the referee. McLoughlin missing with a left hand there. Sybert was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sloppy strikes from McLoughlin. Those never looked like landing. McLoughlin catches Sybert with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Sybert moves out of range as McLoughlin strikes.

He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Sybert. That's going to take a lot out of him. McLoughlin instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McLoughlin throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

It looks like Ray Sybert has been cut. McLoughlin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sybert backwards. McLoughlin lands a nice knee to the body. Sybert takes a knee right on the jaw!

McLoughlin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sybert! Sybert is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

McLoughlin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sybert counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McLoughlin's guard now. McLoughlin keeping moving, preventing Sybert from controlling successfully. Sybert stopping the sweep attempt from McLoughlin. Sybert drops back, looking for a kneebar! McLoughlin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McLoughlin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McLoughlin! A lull in the action here. Ray Sybert has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Sybert counters with a single leg into guard. McLoughlin didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McLoughlin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sybert won't allow McLoughlin to sweep him here. Sybert looking to sit in guard and control but McLoughlin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ray Sybert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Angus McLoughlin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Angus McLoughlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sybert changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McLoughlin tries to avoid it but Sybert manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McLoughlin to the ground. McLoughlin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Angus McLoughlin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got McLoughlin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
