Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dallas's entrance music is Ace of Spades. A fine choice. Lewis has chosen Fort minor Ft. 50 Cent&Eminem - Remember the name Remix as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Dallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Junior Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas shoots and misses
and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dallas with a poor takedown
and Lewis counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Dan Dallas has been cut.
Lewis misses with a few strikes there.
Dallas tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Lewis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dallas's guard now.
Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lewis works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lewis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Dallas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lewis stalling.
Dallas wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.

Lewis stands up out of the half guard.
Dallas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lewis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dallas's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Dallas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dallas can't keep his opponent in guard - Lewis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lewis trying to control the pace.
Lewis is nestled in close to Dallas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lewis blocks the strikes from Dallas.
Lewis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Lewis decides to return to a standing position.

Lewis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dallas is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lewis gets a takedown into half guard.
Dallas punching from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lewis in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Lewis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Junior Lewis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Lewis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dallas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lewis digs a good hook to Dallas's body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dallas. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lewis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lewis.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dallas throws a lazy head kick

and Lewis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dallas's guard now.
Lewis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lewis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Lewis controls the position.
Lewis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Junior Lewis wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lewis lands with a shot to the body.
Dallas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dallas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lewis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Lewis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lewis.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Junior Lewis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dan Dallas's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lewis lands a two punch combo.

Lewis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dallas is trying to improve his position.
Lewis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lewis scores with a couple of short elbows.
Lewis controls the position from side control.
Lewis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Junior Lewis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lewis scores with a push kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lewis!


Dan Dallas's cut is getting worse.
Dallas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Lewis counters with a shoot takedown. Dallas fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis advances position into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Let's hope that Lewis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Lewis in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
You can see the frustration on Dallas's face as Lewis controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Junior Lewis.

Lewis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dallas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dallas being controlled here, momentarily.
Junior Lewis has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lewis is pushing down on Dallas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dallas is fighting to maintain full guard but Lewis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lewis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dallas!
Dallas is in a horrible position here. Lewis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lewis looking to secure an arm triangle but Dallas defends it well.

Lewis controlling the pace for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Junior Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Lewis cracks Dallas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Dan Dallas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dallas tries for a takedown but Lewis circles away easily

so Lewis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lewis stands and throws Dallas's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Dallas's face as Lewis controls the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Lewis counters with a body kick.
Dan Dallas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lewis is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dallas rather than just go for the knockout.
Dallas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lewis throws a front kick that sends Dallas stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dallas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lewis to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lewis passes into half guard.
Lewis controlling the action here.
Lewis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lewis controlling the pace for now.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Junior Lewis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lewis lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dallas backs up against the cage.

Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard.
Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Lewis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lewis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Junior Lewis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Junior Lewis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lewis digs a good hook to Dallas's body.
Dan Dallas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
Junior Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
