Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeVaughn Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Patrick Oliveira has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Oliveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DeVaughn Williams! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliveira avoids the head kick by Williams.
Oliveira connects with a solid leg kick. Williams throws a leg kick and Oliveira counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Williams is trying to push Oliveira away but Oliveira has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Williams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Oliveira.
Williams trying to control the position but instead, Oliveira has worked for underhooks and has pushed Williams into the cage. Oliveira could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Williams avoiding damage as Oliveira throws knees to the body.
Oliveira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Oliveira closes the distance and clinches. Williams wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Oliveira has him pressed against the cage. Williams is trying to drag Oliveira to the mat but Oliveira just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Oliveira pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oliveira misses with a wild combination.
Williams tries a low kick but Oliveira avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliveira misses with a takedown attempt and Williams counters with a shoot takedown. Oliveira fights it but they end up in guard. Williams advances to half guard. Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time. Williams controlling the pace. Oliveira trying to control here.
Oliveira wants to get back to full guard. Oliveira is trying to control but can't.
Oliveira is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Oliveira is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Williams jumps into side control! Oliveira is breathing heavily. Williams is staying tight to Oliveira's torso, preventing him from escaping. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams working the ground and pound from side control. Williams is working to tighten is grip on Oliveira's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Oliveira has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Williams is really squeezing tight and eventually Oliveira passes out! Williams breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
