Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes to the cage accompanied by Dawn of the Dead by Does it Offend you, yeah?. Lyoto Machida could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Martin's chin.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida lands with a hook. Martin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Martin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Machida.
Martin throws a wild body kick that Machida sees coming a mile off.
Machida swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Martin counters with a three punch combo that has Machida backing up. Machida nods at Martin to acknowledge the strikes.

and Martin counters with a series of strikes. Machida will be more careful next time no doubt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Martin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machida gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Martin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
