Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Omar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into the arena with Go To Sleep Bitch blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pedro Omar!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omar takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jackson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Omar checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Omar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jackson. Omar shrugs it off though.
Curtis Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Omar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jackson throws a head kick but Omar moves out of range.
Jackson lands a really nice looking cross but Omar seems unphased.
Omar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jackson counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Omar counters with a shoot takedown. Jackson fights it but they end up in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson keeping moving, preventing Omar from controlling successfully.
Jackson is pulling down on Omar's head to control his posture.
Omar wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.

Omar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Omar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet.
Omar slips nicely into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jackson is defending against the submission attempts here by Omar.
Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.
Omar works his way into side control.

Omar is working to tighten is grip on Jackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Omar is really squeezing tight and eventually Jackson passes out! Omar breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
