1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prince Buckleberry! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buckleberry scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Buckleberry tries a head kick but it misses.
Dir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buckleberry pinned against the cage. Buckleberry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Buckleberry looks for the body kick but Dir saw that one coming. Buckleberry thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dir if he has to take too many more of those.
Dir is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buckleberry clinches. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Dir fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buckleberry avoids it really well and circles away. Dir on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Dir blocks a head kick by Buckleberry.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Buckleberry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Buckleberry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Buckleberry throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Buckleberry swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dir doesn't succeed with the takedown and Buckleberry makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dir really felt that one! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haral Dir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buckleberry throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dir's head. Buckleberry scores with a head kick. Dir tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Oh Dir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Prince Buckleberry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dir managing to block the knees to the body from Buckleberry.
