Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lou Capalatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valiant Thorr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Capalatti swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Capalatti working to try and regain half guard.
Thorr looking for a guillotine from mount but Capalatti is having none of it.
Capalatti is looking to get to half guard.
Capalatti gets back to half guard.
Capalatti wants to get back to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Capalatti has hold of Thorr's hands but Thorr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Capalatti misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Capalatti gets full guard.
Capalatti tries to strike from the bottom.
Capalatti looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thorr is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Capalatti fails with the takedown
and Thorr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Capalatti won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Capalatti is looking to regain half guard here but Thorr keeps moving and retains side control.

Thorr is working to tighten is grip on Capalatti's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Capalatti has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Thorr is really squeezing tight and eventually Capalatti passes out! Thorr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
