Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Callao Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Furious George! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Callao Jr to the mat! Callao Jr manages to get full guard. Callao Jr is trying to keep George in close.
George thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. George in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Callao Jr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst George is controlling him. George trying to control the position from guard on top but Callao Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. George stays in close to Callao Jr's body and controls the position. Callao Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for George on the ground. George thows a big elbow that misses. George wants to pass the guard but Callao Jr is keeping the position. George sitting in guard, not really doing much.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Furious George hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A combination from Callao Jr does no damage. Callao Jr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. George did well to prevent Callao Jr getting side control. George is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. George's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. George moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Callao Jr! Callao Jr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. George cracks Callao Jr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
George controlling his opponent. George with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Callao Jr wants to hold on but George pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. George thowing shots but they're missing. Callao Jr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Callao Jr is breathing heavily. George content just to control the position here. Callao Jr wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by George.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. George has hold of Callao Jr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Callao Jr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. George unloads with some shots from mount but Callao Jr bucks and avoids them well.

George thowing shots but they're missing. Callao Jr defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from George. George has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. George jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Callao Jr manages to avoid the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Furious George dominated that round. That's time! Callao Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
George gets a takedown into half guard. George looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with George in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. George seems to be working for a kimura but Callao Jr defends the submission attempt. George seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Callao Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. George is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Callao Jr is just riding it out for now. George eventually gives up the hold. George throwing shots but Callao Jr is blocking nicely. George seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. George wants to pass the guard but Callao Jr is defending well. George not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. George is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
George seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Callao Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. George controlling the position easily from mount. George sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! George sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. George wants to take Callao Jr's back here but Callao Jr is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Callao Jr avoids a series of strikes thrown by George.

Furious George showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Callao Jr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from George. George not landing any meaningful shots this time. Well, if George is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
George is looking to take a break and control but Callao Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. George frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. George mounts Callao Jr! Really nice guard pass there! Callao Jr has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
George is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Callao Jr defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Callao Jr is trying to defend against the choke here but George has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. George Tightens the hold and Callao Jr taps out furiously! George displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
