Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sui Hing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Mason was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sui Hing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Mason! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hing misses with a takedown attempt and Mason counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hing throws a body punch but Mason moves out of range. Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hing napping and manages to drive through into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hing manages to get back to half guard. Mason is trying to control. Hing wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mason really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mason working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hing is refusing to be controlled, as Mason sits in half guard. Mason is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mason wants to stand up but Hing has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Mason. Mason shoots in and gets a takedown into Hing's guard. Mason trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hing's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hing scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mason scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mason looks gassed! Mason is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hing is just riding it out for now. Mason eventually gives up the hold. Mason is looking to pass Hing's guard but actually Hing recovers to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hing trying to keep a closed guard but Mason is proving a slippery customer.
Mason preventing the sweep. Mason tries to free his leg and advance position but Hing is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hing controls Mason momentarily but Mason frees himself. Mason throws a strike but Hing rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hing controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hing advances position into side control! Hing advances to full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hing can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mason is looking to escape. Hing looking to control and managing it successfully. Hing has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Mason dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hing. A telegraphed right hand from Hing misses the target. Mason looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hing is pressing down on Mason's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mason trying to control the position from guard on top but Hing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hing pulls Mason in close to prevent any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Mason was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hing takes the fight into the clinch. Hing lands a nice knee to the body. Hing has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mason uses from the top position. Hing working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mason trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mason working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hing is trying to control the position but Mason postures up. Mason wants to pass the guard but Hing is keeping the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mason has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hing to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mason is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hing pulls down on the head and he's put Mason to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sui Hing!
