Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brewster B (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tombstone Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Brewster B!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Tombstone Terry!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry closes the distance but B moves to the side
and Terry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
B with a body punch. A glancing blow.
B swings away with a body shot that misses
and Terry finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Terry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and B counters with a slapping leg kick.
B throws a lazy head kick
and Terry counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Terry scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
B looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
B scores with a nice right hand.
Terry fails with an attempt to clinch.
Terry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
B feints and then cracks Terry's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Terry down.
B throws a lazy head kick

and Terry holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Terry lands with a cross.
A head kick by B misses

and Terry counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
B gets back to full guard.
B tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Terry wants to pass the guard but B is keeping the position.

B is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Terry defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terry postures up.
Terry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Terry postures up in B's guard and throws a big left but B blocks it.
B keeping moving, preventing Terry from controlling successfully.
B lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Terry!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Terry takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
B working away from the top, dropping strikes.
B lands a nice shot to the head.
B misses with a head shot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
B looking to finish with strikes here!
B has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Terry's face.

B goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Terry is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Terry trying to control the position from guard on top but B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
B throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

B is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Terry defends well.

B bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Terry's guard.
Terry avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
B pushing down on Terry's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
B thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Terry's head.
B throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Terry is in trouble now - B has advanced to mount!
B lands a big shot there that rocks Terry but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

B with a couple of short strikes.
B trying to control but Terry is having none of it.

B thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Terry is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


B lands a body shot.
Terry misses with a takedown attempt
and B counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Terry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on B. That did some damage!
B throws a combination. Terry tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
B lands the left hand.
Terry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
B scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
B cracks Terry with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Terry is looking to clinch.
B throws out a powerful jab.
B scores with a nice body kick.
B fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Terry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
B circles away from the clinch attempt.
B misses with a body punch

and Terry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Terry.

Terry gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
B gets back to full guard.

Terry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

B looking for a sweep. Not yet B, not yet.
Terry is looking to work some ground and pound but B has wrist control.
B is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

B is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now B is on top in guard.
B might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
B won't allow Terry to get back to his feet.
B has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
B slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Terry is trying to control B's posture but B avoids it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Terry looks for a takedown but B sprawls well.

and B makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Terry decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Terry wants to lay and pray for a moment but B keeps working.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Terry is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, B has managed to free his arm - good work.

B looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Brewster B is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
B wants to control the action here but instead Terry manages to pass to full mount!
Terry landing punches.
B can't escape the position.
Tombstone Terry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tombstone Terry.
I think B has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
