Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buck Shmuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blast is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Goldfinger - Superman. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buck Shmuck! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shmuck darts in trying to clinch and Blast counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Blast connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Shmuck closes the distance but Blast moves to the side and Blast counters with a two punch combo. Blast misses with a left hand and Shmuck counters with a shoot takedown. Blast fights it but they end up in guard. Shmuck wants to pass the guard but Blast is keeping the position. Shmuck controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shmuck trying to control the position from guard on top but Blast is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shmuck wants to pass the guard but Blast is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Buck Shmuck has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Blast is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Blast circles away from the clinch attempt and Blast counters with a nice double leg into guard. Blast throws and elbow that misses. Shmuck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blast's guard. Nice move by Shmuck! Shmuck wants to stand but Blast is controlling his posture from full guard. Shmuck pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blast is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shmuck working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shmuck trying to control but Blast is working from the bottom. Shmuck tries to free his leg and advance position but Blast is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shmuck looking to sit in guard and control but Blast gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Blast working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Blast tries to free his leg and advance position but Shmuck is retaining full guard. Blast throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shmuck works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Blast thows a big elbow that misses. Blast keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shmuck's head. Shmuck preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Blast dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Shmuck tries to sprawl but Blast drives through with a takedown into half guard. Blast missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Blast thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blast connects with a nice short shot to Shmuck's temple. Blast trying to mount his opponent but Shmuck defends it. Blast working the head and body with strikes. Shmuck is not content to let Blast control the position. Shmuck wants to improve his position but Blast is controlling well.

Blast throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Blast looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Blast missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Shmuck keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Shmuck on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Shmuck is refusing to be controlled, as Blast sits in half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Blast thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Blast with the ground and pound but Shmuck uses the opportunity to regain guard. Shmuck controls Blast momentarily but Blast frees himself. Blast cracks Shmuck with a solid left hand. Blast throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blast wants to pass the guard but Shmuck is keeping the position. Blast loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Blast's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blast throws a big right hand that misses. Blast is looking to work some ground and pound but Shmuck has wrist control. Blast thows a big elbow that misses. Blast throws and elbow that misses. Shmuck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blast's guard. Nice move by Shmuck! Blast is pulling down on Shmuck's head. It's preventing any offense from Shmuck, at least for the moment.

Tim Blast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Shmuck tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Blast counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Shmuck! Blast lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Blast prevents Shmuck from getting the reversal. Shmuck tries to lock up and control but Blast gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Blast throws some wild stikes that Shmuck manages to avoid easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Blast cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Shmuck is rocked! Shmuck tries to buck Blast off but he can't manage it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shmuck is bucking up trying to escape but Blast cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Shmuck is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Blast throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Shmuck because Blast loaded up on that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab from Blast finds it's way through Shmuck's defenses. Shmuck moves away from the strike by Blast. Shmuck seems to have got his legs back now. Blast will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shmuck working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Blast. Shmuck is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blast is controlling him. Shmuck decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Shmuck misses with a head shot. Blast uses the momentum to regain guard. Shmuck wants to stand and escape but instead Blast has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Blast trying to control but Shmuck is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blast advances position into side control! The ground and pound from Blast seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Shmuck regains half guard, as Blast was trying to land strikes. Blast working over Shmuck with some ground and pound. Shmuck looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Blast is looking to stall here but Shmuck recovers full guard. Blast won't allow Shmuck to sweep him here. Buck Shmuck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Tim Blast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
