Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Preuss Belfort! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Jackson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Belfort has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jackson to stand back up!

It looks like Samuel Jackson has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belfort missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Belfort finish him? Belfort throws a lazy uppercut
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. Belfort leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jackson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Belfort did well to prevent Jackson getting side control. Belfort is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Belfort wants to get back to his feet. Jackson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Belfort wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.

Belfort is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Belfort is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Belfort has escaped and now he's on top! Belfort throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Belfort missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Belfort in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Belfort throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson wriggles free and stands up. Belfort lands an overhand right. Jackson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Belfort. That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort misses with a right hand and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Belfort on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Belfort tries to get out of the position. Belfort is breathing heavily. Jackson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Belfort keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson chips away with some ground and pound. Belfort is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jackson is pushing down on Belfort's leg trying to pass to half guard. Belfort is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through. Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Belfort keeps working. Jackson is thwarting Belfort's attempts to control the position. Belfort tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Jackson seems content to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Belfort's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Belfort. Jackson landing shots from mount. Belfort is trying to escape the mount.
Jackson wants to control the pace but Belfort is squirming around nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson breaks from Belfort's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Preuss Belfort will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Samuel Jackson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Belfort, up you get! Belfort scores with the left hand. Jackson knows he should have avoided that one. Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Belfort's guard. Belfort keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Belfort is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Belfort is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Belfort has wrist control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Belfort trying to keep a closed guard but Jackson is proving a slippery customer.

Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson distracts Belfort with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jackson trying to control but Belfort is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Samuel Jackson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Belfort's guard. Jackson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jackson thows a big elbow that misses. Belfort has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle. Jackson trying to control but Belfort is working from the bottom. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jackson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jackson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jackson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jackson wants to control but Belfort is keeping him busy. Jackson controlling the pace. Jackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but Belfort is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jackson to get the leverage. Jackson passes to side control. Jackson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Belfort is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Belfort struggling a bit here. Jackson cracks Belfort with a big right hand but Belfort just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson working the ground and pound from side control. Jackson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jackson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Belfort's half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson is trying to control. Belfort wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Belfort avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jackson. Jackson trying to control the action but Belfort is working from the bottom. Jackson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice strikes from Jackson there. Jackson throwing shots but Belfort is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Samuel Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
