The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno Jr takes a jab right on the kisser.
King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puno Jr manages to avoid it.
King swings for the body but Puno Jr moves out of range.
A low kick from King misses
and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Brian King has been cut.
King misses with a body shot.
Puno Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King lands a leg kick that knocks Puno Jr off balance momentarily.
Puno Jr blocks a head kick by King.
Puno Jr on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Puno Jr tries to clinch but fails miserably
and King connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Puno Jr throws a lazy body kick
and Puno Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
King walks into a straight right hand from Puno Jr.
King gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Puno Jr makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. King really felt that one!

and King counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Puno Jr counters with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and King counters with a low kick, right behind Puno Jr 's knee.
Puno Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from King.
Puno Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King.
King looks gassed!

and Puno Jr counters with a nice leg kick.
King motions for Puno Jr to come forward. King throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
King throws an off balance right hand
and Puno Jr counters with a leg kick.
Puno Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Puno Jr throws out a leg kick but King moves out of range and Puno Jr only half commits.
Puno Jr tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Puno Jr fakes the leg kick and cracks King in the body.

Puno Jr tries to clinch there but King circles away.

Puno Jr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with King, pushing him back against the cage.
Puno Jr blocking some punches.
King throws a head punch that misses.
King misses with a punch to the body.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Puno Jr.
King misses with a body punch.
Puno Jr will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning King up against the cage.
King slowing the pace effectively.
With the fighters up against the cage, Puno Jr throws an elbow but misses.
A body shot lands from Puno Jr.
King wants to break free but Puno Jr has control.
King takes an elbow to the forehead.
Puno Jr throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Puno Jr has King pushed against the cage.
King blocks the elbow strike.
Puno Jr lands a damaging elbow.

King misses with a punch on the inside.
King looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Puno Jr presses King against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Puno Jr pushes off an throws an elbow but King leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
King avoids a wild elbow strike from Puno Jr.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Puno Jr has King pressed against the cage. He pushes King back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Puno Jr throws a beautiful elbow that sends King crashing to the floor! Puno Jr piles on the pressure with more strikes! King is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
