Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cavallera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyron Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Cavallera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyron Gracie! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavallera misses with a head kick.
Cavallera has his takedown stuffed letting Gracie counter with a right hand. Cavallera avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cavallera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gracie has eaten all the pies! Cavallera tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gracie wants to pass to mount but Cavallera is defending the position. Gracie not doing much here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cavallera wants to stand back up but Gracie manages to pass into side control.
Gracie controlling from side mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cavallera is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control. Cavallera being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. You can see the frustration on Cavallera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cavallera is trying to improve his position. Gracie staying calm. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cavallera has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cavallera is letting Gracie control him for a moment. Cavallera is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cavallera trying to remain calm as Gracie controls from the top position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kyron Gracie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cavallera looks to clinch and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cavallera won't be happy with that. Cavallera trying to remain calm as Gracie controls from the top position. Gracie tries for a kimura but Cavallera is defending well. Gracie is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cavallera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cavallera throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Cavallera misses with a two punch combination.
Cavallera tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cavallera with a lazy takedown attempt so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie sitting in guard, not really doing much. Cavallera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie controls from within his opponent's guard. Gracie passes Cavallera's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cavallera! Gracie controlling the position easily from mount. Gracie avoids the attempt from Cavallera to control. Cavallera has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie scores with punches and elbows. Gracie patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? What can Cavallera do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Gracie scores with punches to the body. Gracie is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cavallera knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cavallera for a finish. I really don't envy Cavallera right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavallera wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie biding his time, looking for the opening.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kyron Gracie wasn't active enough on the ground. Cavallera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Cavallera gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Cavallera fights it but they end up in guard. Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall. Cavallera trying to control from the bottom.
Gracie with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyron Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Kyron Gracie has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A clash of legs there as Gracie blocks the low kick. Cavallera fails with the takedown and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. The referee asks Gracie politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gracie prefers to stall for the moment though. Cavallera gets back to half guard. Gracie is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyron Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far. Cavallera looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kyron Gracie wasn't active enough on the ground. Cavallera misses with the combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fight stays on the outside here - Cavallera looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gracie checks a leg kick nicely. Roger Cavallera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cavallera fails to land with a series of punches.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Cavallera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie throws the left hand but Cavallera avoids the punch easily. Cavallera is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cavallera displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab. Cavallera misses with a looping right. Gracie blocks a head kick by Cavallera.
Kyron Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cavallera throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily. Gracie misses the jab. Gracie misses with an uppercut. Cavallera saw that one coming. Cavallera slips a jab from Gracie. Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss! Roger Cavallera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie throws a hook to the side of Cavallera's head but Cavallera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyron Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
