Dean has chosen Another one bites the dust as his entrance music. Eddie Dean is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Garry Cahil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Dean! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Cahil catches Dean right on the button with a cross. Dean circles away from the clinch attempt and Dean counters with a stiff right hand. Dean shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Dean throwing shots but Cahil is blocking nicely. Dean drops an elbow to the side of Cahil's head. Cahil looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dean is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dean can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cahil is looking to escape. Dean throwing strikes here but Cahil is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dean is working for a guillotine from mount but Cahil frees his head quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Cahil throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dean checks the leg kick. Cahil lands with a hook. Dean tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dean dodges the punch combination from Cahil.
Dean misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cahil misses with a few strikes there.
Dean tries to clinch there but Cahil circles away.
Cahil ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Oooooh!!! Cahil has knocked Dean down with a huge combo! Cahil steps away and waves a wobbly Dean back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Dean is rocked!
It looks like Eddie Dean has been cut. Eddie Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dean looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cahil avoids the head kick by Dean.
Dean is still on wobbly legs! Can Cahil finish him? Dean circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Cahil. Dean falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Cahil!
