Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo AbbottSlice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatton comes to the cage accompanied by Bret Hart theme. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bret Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimbo AbbottSlice! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! AbbottSlice scores with a hook. AbbottSlice lands a really nice looking cross but Hatton seems unphased.
AbbottSlice connects with the punch. AbbottSlice fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hatton manages to avoid it. AbbottSlice throws a wild body kick that Hatton sees coming a mile off. Hatton fails with the takedown letting AbbottSlice counter with a right hand. Kimbo AbbottSlice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hatton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in AbbottSlice's half guard. AbbottSlice looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hatton is stalling here. AbbottSlice is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hatton seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and AbbottSlice has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatton is looking for a sweep. AbbottSlice working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hatton manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. AbbottSlice landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. AbbottSlice trying to pass the guard but Hatton defending well. Hatton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. AbbottSlice looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hatton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hatton is not content to let AbbottSlice control the position. AbbottSlice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hatton actively working from the bottom here. That's two minutes gone in the round. AbbottSlice is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hatton sees it coming and defends easily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. AbbottSlice connects with a nice short shot to Hatton's temple. Hatton trying to control here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kimbo AbbottSlice hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hatton. Hatton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. AbbottSlice tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hatton looking to control but AbbottSlice is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hatton is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but AbbottSlice is surviving well by controlling Hatton's body position as best he can. Hatton working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. AbbottSlice is working to get back to half guard.
AbbottSlice in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. AbbottSlice is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. AbbottSlice is trying to reverse the position but instead Hatton has taken his back - oops! AbbottSlice defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
AbbottSlice is trying to remain composed but Hatton is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Hatton working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. AbbottSlice tries to escape but Hatton has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Hatton scores with punches and elbows. AbbottSlice tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. AbbottSlice wants to hold on but Hatton pushes him away. AbbottSlice defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hatton. AbbottSlice tries to hold on but Hatton postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bret Hatton will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
AbbottSlice has closed the distance and engaged Hatton in a clinch.
Hatton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. AbbottSlice avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from AbbottSlice fails to land. AbbottSlice lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. AbbottSlice misses with the head strike.
AbbottSlice works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hatton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. AbbottSlice fights it off and pushes away nicely.
AbbottSlice throws a low kick but Hatton avoids it. AbbottSlice misses with an uppercut
and Hatton counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for AbbottSlice! Hatton working for a submission but AbbottSlice is keeping him at bay. AbbottSlice working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton has hold of AbbottSlice's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and AbbottSlice manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hatton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. AbbottSlice tries to lock up and control but Hatton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bret Hatton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. AbbottSlice slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Hatton lands with a punch from half guard. AbbottSlice missing with punches from the bottom.
Hatton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Hatton dominating with strikes here. Hatton jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but AbbottSlice manages to avoid the submission attempt. AbbottSlice is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hatton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting AbbottSlice counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bret Hatton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hatton closes this distance looking for a takedown but AbbottSlice circles away. Bret Hatton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good exchange - AbbottSlice coming out on top. Hatton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from AbbottSlice. AbbottSlice tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hatton counters with a takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hatton working away. Hatton is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, AbbottSlice has managed to free his arm - good work. AbbottSlice is refusing to be controlled, as Hatton sits in half guard. AbbottSlice wants to control but Hatton is keeping busy and won't allow it. AbbottSlice is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hatton sitting and controlling from the half guard. Hatton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and AbbottSlice defends it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hatton is trying to control the action in half guard but AbbottSlice is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. AbbottSlice controlling the position well. Hatton wants to control but AbbottSlice is keeping him busy. Hatton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed AbbottSlice's head. Hatton is looking to advance position but AbbottSlice won't allow it. AbbottSlice holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton wants to control but AbbottSlice is keeping him busy. AbbottSlice moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hatton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hatton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. AbbottSlice working a defensive guard here.
Hatton has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing AbbottSlice to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hatton is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - AbbottSlice pulls down on the head and he's put Hatton to sleep! This one is all over!
