Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Dodger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morote Gari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gari has chosen Moonlight Equilibrium - The Black Dahlia Murder as his entrance music. Morote Gari will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Dodger.
Dodger tries to work over Gari's front leg with a kick but Gari checks it.
Dodger misses with a body shot.
Gari misses with a wild body shot.
Gari tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dodger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dodger lands with a right hand.
Dodger jabs Gari to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dodger fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gari on the side of the head.
Nice shot lands for Dodger.
Dodger throws a body punch but Gari moves out of range.
Dodger shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dodger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gari moves away.
Dodger swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Gari counters with a big head kick but Dodger shrugs it off.
Dodger lands a right hook to the body.
Gari doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dodger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

It looks like Morote Gari has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dodger. Gari does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dodger thows a body shot but no joy.
Gari is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dodger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dodger is looking to wear down Gari with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gari tries to clinch up.
Roger Dodger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dodger swings for the body but Gari moves out of range.
Gari shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Dodger scores with a body shot.
Gari looks gassed!
Gari walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dodger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dodger shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gari napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dodger is staying tight to Gari's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Gari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dodger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Roger Dodger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Gari on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dodger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gari tries to move into range but Dodger moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dodger scores with a sloppy right hand. Gari should have avoided that one.
Dodger misses with a body punch
and Gari counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Gari not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Dodger manages to get to full guard.

Dodger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gari doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dodger is tightening it up a little... Gari has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gari reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gari taps out! nice BJJ there by Dodger!
