Gavrankapetanovic comes into the arena with Public Enemy - He Got Game blaring out of the sound system. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavrankapetanovic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kalevi feints and as Gavrankapetanovic raises his hands in defense, Kalevi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kalevi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gavrankapetanovic is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Gavrankapetanovic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gavrankapetanovic enables Kalevi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gavrankapetanovic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

It looks like Kalevi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kalevi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gavrankapetanovic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kalevi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gavrankapetanovic sprawls well initially but Kalevi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
