Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson stuffs the takedown.
Petrov is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Williamson.
Williamson lands a jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petrov is defended easily by Williamson.
Williamson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Williamson connects with a crisp jab.
Petrov looks for a takedown but Williamson sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petir Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Williamson digs a good hook to Petrov's body.
Petrov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williamson pinned against the cage. Williamson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Williamson throws a combination. Petrov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Williamson throws a series of punches but Petrov avoids them all with ease.
Horrible takedown by Petrov or perhaps it was just good defense by Williamson which made him look bad.
Williamson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Williamson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Williamson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Petrov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williamson tries to avoid it but Petrov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williamson to the ground. Williamson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williamson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Petrov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Williamson thuds a left hand into Petrov's body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Williamson.
Williamson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Williamson keeps the fight on the outside.
Petrov is breathing heavily.
Petrov looks to score with a jab to the body but Williamson is just out of range.
Petrov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Petrov tries to move into range but Williamson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Petrov tries to clinch but Williamson moves out of range.
Petrov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Williamson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Petrov scrambles back to his feet.
A left lands for Williamson.
Williamson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Petrov on the side of the head.
Petrov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Petrov moves in looking to clinch but Williamson pushes him off.
Williamson lands with a nice combination. Petrov backs away looking to recover.
Petrov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Petrov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Petrov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Williamson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Petrov scrambles back to his feet.
Williamson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Donk. Williamson catches Petrov right on the button with a cross.
Petrov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Petrov fails with a takedown attempt.
Petrov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A jab from Williamson does it's job there.
Petrov looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

The fighters circle momentarily. Williamson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Williamson throws a leg kick but Petrov checks it.
Williamson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williamson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Petrov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Petrov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Petrov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Williamson lands with a right hand.
Williamson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Williamson looks to land a combination. Petrov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Petrov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Williamson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Petrov is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Petrov looks up at the clock. Bad move! Williamson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Petrov. Williamson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Williamson!
