Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sloppy strikes from Hunt. Those never looked like landing.
Lane looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lane throws a big right hand that misses.
Lane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hunt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lane is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunt has wrist control.
Lane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hunt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunt, not yet.
Hunt pulls Lane in to control the position.

Hunt keeping full guard, as Lane tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lane trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lane is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Leif Lane wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Lane shoots and misses
and Hunt counters with a head kick that drops Lane to the mat! Lane scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Lane wants to clinch
and Hunt moves into the clinch.
Lane tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hunt smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leif Lane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lane misses with a takedown attempt
and Hunt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lane with a poor takedown
and Hunt counters with a hugh head kick that removes Lane from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
