Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Youzef closes the distance and clinches.

Bigalow gets control of Youzef's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bigalow will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bigalow throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Youzef escapes and throws Bigalow's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Youzef decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bigalow to his feet.
Youzef tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bigalow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Youzef somewhat.

Youzef moves into the clinch.

Bigalow works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Youzef pushes Bigalow off and gets back to his feet.

Bigalow moves into range and clinches up with Youzef.

Youzef wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bigalow is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Youzef manages to pull guard.
Youzef keeping moving, preventing Bigalow from controlling successfully.
Youzef has control of Bigalow's left arm, preventing Bigalow from doing any damage.
Bigalow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Youzef manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Youzef really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Youzef throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bigalow was covering up waiting for the punch and Youzef finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Youzef wants to pass the guard but Bigalow is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Youzef takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Youzef pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bigalow wants to control but Youzef is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bigalow goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Youzef has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bigalow but great work by Youzef.

Youzef is looking for a sweep. Bigalow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bigalow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Youzef sees it coming and defends easily.

Bigalow trying to control the position from guard on top but Youzef is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bigalow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Youzef kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bigalow wants to control from the top but Youzef keeps moving.
Bigalow is looking to work some ground and pound but Youzef has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Youzef has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bigalow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bigalow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bigalow misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bigalow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Youzef keeps working.

Bigalow lands a nice forearm strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bigalow is looking to take a break and control but Youzef is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bigalow throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Bigalow stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Youzef gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bigalow to score an easy takedown into full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bigalow throws a sloppy head kick and Youzef moves out of range easily.

Bigalow has control of Youzef's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Youzef regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brian Bigalow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
